Cabinet knob Solliden is made of solid brass and has a surface of polished untreated brass. The knob fits perfectly in both modern and rustic kitchens as well as on furniture such as chests of drawers, wardrobes and chests of drawers. Knob Solliden is available in four different designs, nickel-plated, polished brass, polished untreated brass and matt black.
Polished untreated brass means that the surface is allowed to oxidize to get a living surface that darkens over time. Irritation is a natural reaction that occurs from the air's moisture and oxygen and protects the metal and prolongs its life. Knobs in polished untreated brass are without protective varnish and made of solid brass. It is difficult to see the difference between handles that are in polished brass or polished untreated brass, the difference comes only after use and over time the knobs that is in polished untreated brass is patinated.
