Get a bright and lovely morning in the bathroom with our LED lighting.
Bathroom light fixtures are an important part of how you experience a bathroom, whether it's a vanity light beside the mirror, a fixture above it, or an LED mirror with the lighting built directly in. The bathroom is a place for both relaxation and where we often stand and arrange ourselves with for example makeup and hair styling – the same goes for a smaller guest bathroom. Placement of
lighting in combination with the bathroom mirror is therefore very important in order to get the right light to the face that does not dazzle. For best light, place fixtures above the mirror to also avoid shadows.
Since a light in a bathroom is switched on and off more often than other lighting in the home, energy-efficient lighting is important. Bathroom light fixtures in LEDs are therefore a great alternative as they are very energy efficient, whether you choose a vanity light, a ceiling light for softer ambient light, or an LED mirror. When choosing lighting for the bathroom, it is important to consider safety. All our bathroom lighting is approved for use in bathrooms. This is determined by what is usually called IP rating. A bathroom fixture must meet specific requirements for resistance to water, steam, and dust. Depending on where in the bathroom you place the fixture, different IP ratings apply, for example lighting above the mirror is usually sufficient at IP21, while ceiling lights used in dry zones can have a lower rating. If you are unsure of the IP rating, we advise you to consult an electrician.
Bathroom Light Fixtures for Wall and Mirror
Bathroom light fixtures come in several forms – from classic vanity lights to wall sconces mounted beside the mirror. If you want a vanity light, it's most common to place one on each side of the mirror, or as a single long fixture above it. This gives even, shadow-free light across the face, whether you're applying makeup or shaving. The same principle applies to a smaller guest bathroom or powder room – it's the same type of fixture, just on a smaller scale.
Vanity Lights for Even, Shadow-Free Light
A vanity light is designed to be mounted directly beside or above the bathroom mirror, giving an even, shadow-free light straight onto the face. An LED vanity light is energy efficient, switches on instantly, and lasts a long time, even with frequent daily use. Many choose a vanity light in chrome or black to match other bathroom fixtures in the room.
LED Mirror with Integrated Lighting
If you prefer a mirror with the lighting built directly into the mirror itself, you'll also find this in our range. An LED mirror gives a sleek, modern look, often combining mirror, light and storage in a single solution – practical when space is limited.
Ceiling Lights as Complementary Ambient Lighting
Ceiling lights work well as a soft, decorative ambient light in the room. Our ceiling lights are CE marked, dimmable and designed for 230V with an IP20 protection rating, making them suitable for dry areas of the home. If you need lighting closer to a wet zone, for example near the shower or bath, choose a fixture with an IP44 rating instead.
