Orders & payment
How does the 60-day return policy work?
At Beslag Online you have a 60-day return policy. It applies from the day you receive your order. If your order is delivered in several shipments, for example because of a temporary stock shortage, the 60 days are counted from the delivery date of each individual product.
The 60 days are a total. Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (cancellation right) for distance purchases is included in the 60 days. It is not added on top, so the period is not 60 + 14 days. Your statutory rights are not limited by the 60-day return policy. For the statutory right, the 14 days run from the day you receive the goods (for an order delivered in several shipments, from the day you receive the last item).
A return fee of €5 applies to every return that is not a complaint, including returns within the first 14 days. The fee is deducted from your refund. There is no return fee for complaints about defective or damaged products. See claims and complaints.
If a returned product is damaged or has been used so that it can no longer be sold as new, your refund may be reduced. Within the statutory 14 days, a reduction may only cover loss in value caused by handling the product beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, which is what you could do when inspecting it in a store.
Cancel existing order
If you need to cancel your order for any reason, contact us as soon as possible, preferably directly via our chat. That way we can try to stop the order before it moves to our warehouse.
Our warehouse works quickly, and if the order has already been processed, we unfortunately cannot cancel it. In that case you can return the products once you have received them. The €5 return fee applies (see 60-day return policy).
Can I change my order?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add products to an order afterwards. Once an order has been placed, we start processing it as soon as possible, which means we collect and pack the products for delivery. Products that have not yet been processed may be removed, so contact us as soon as possible.
Because of this, it is important to check your order carefully before you complete your purchase.
If you would like to change or cancel your order for any reason, contact us immediately via our chat or give us a call so we can handle it right away. We will do our best to cancel your order if possible. We will then refund you, and you can place a new order with the changes you want.
Our customer service is happy to help. Write to us at info@beslagonline.com. See also adding products to an existing order.
Adding products to an existing order
Unfortunately, it is not possible to add products to an existing order. However, if your first order has not yet been processed and shipped, you can do this:
Place a new order and send both order numbers to info@beslagonline.com, or contact us via chat or phone. We will then do our best to ship your products together.
Our warehouse works quickly, so if you need to change your order, contact us as soon as possible, preferably directly via chat.
How do I get a discount code?
The best way to stay updated on our offers, campaigns and discount codes is to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media.
Here is our Instagram.
Can you combine discount codes and/or campaigns?
No, it is not possible to combine several discount codes. Discount codes also cannot be used on campaign products or other products that are already reduced in price.
Can you add a discount code afterwards?
As long as your order has not been shipped, we can in most cases add a discount code afterwards. Contact our customer service by email at info@beslagonline.com or chat with us, and include your order number and your discount code.
If your order has already been shipped, we unfortunately cannot add a discount code afterwards. You can instead return the products, provided they have not been installed, and then place a new order using the campaign price or discount code. The €5 return fee applies and is deducted from your refund. See 60-day return policy.
Price guarantee
We offer a price guarantee. If you can show that the same product we sell is offered at a lower price elsewhere, we will match that price. We offer it so that you can feel confident you bought the products at the right price.
These conditions apply to an approved price guarantee:
- We match prices of other authorized resellers who sell the same products as Beslag Online in Europe. The price compared must include an equivalent shipping option and any order handling costs.
- We need confirmation that the item is genuine, new and in exactly the same design (material, size, etc.).
- We reserve the right to deny a price match if the compared price deviates unreasonably from industry practice. Discounts of more than 25% off the regular list price can be considered abnormal.
- Approved documentation can be a quote, a direct link to the other retailer's website, or an original email where the price or offer is clearly stated.
- You need to contact us before you complete your purchase. The price guarantee does not apply to orders already placed.
Need help with a possible price match? Send an email to info@beslagonline.com and we will help you with your case. Full conditions are on our price guarantee page.
Do I have to pay extra VAT on my order?
The prices shown on our website include VAT, so no extra VAT is added at checkout. If shipping costs apply to your order, they are shown at checkout before you pay.
Order samples
You can order different products to compare and see which one fits best in your home.
You are welcome to open the packaging and, for example, hold a knob up against a kitchen cabinet to see how the color and shape match. Do not install the products if you want to return them. If a returned product is damaged or has been used so that it can no longer be sold as new, your refund may be reduced.
The return fee is €5 and is deducted from your refund. Read more in return information.
Do you have questions or need advice? Contact us and we will gladly help you find the right product.
Delivery
How many days will it take for my order to arrive?
Delivery usually takes 2–4 business days. We process your order on the first business day after it is placed. Our online store shows an approximate delivery time for each product, and that applies unless we state otherwise.
You can follow your order step by step by logging in to your account on our website. When your order has been sent, we send a confirmation by email. The same email contains your tracking link and the estimated delivery date.
During holidays and big campaigns such as Black Week, the handling and delivery time may be slightly longer. If your order contains products with different delivery times, it may be split into two deliveries. See shipping options.
How do I track my order?
As soon as our warehouse has packed and shipped your order, you will receive an email with a tracking link at the email address you gave when you placed your order. The link lets you follow your package from us to you. Depending on the carrier, you may also receive a text message notification.
You can also log in to your account on our website to follow your order.
How do I get free shipping?
We offer free shipping when your total order value is over €49 and you choose delivery to a DHL pickup point or parcel locker. Home delivery is not free.
If your order is below €49, the shipping cost depends on the shipping method you choose. See shipping options.
Shipping options
We offer several shipping options. Prices and delivery times on our delivery page at the time of writing:
- DHL pickup point / parcel locker: €5.90 (free over €49), 2–3 days
- DHL home delivery: €6.90, 2–3 days
- UPS home delivery: €7.90, 2–4 days
The delivery times given by each carrier count from when your package has been packed and handed over to the carrier. We process your order on the first business day after it is placed.
If your purchase is below €49, you can see the shipping cost by going to checkout and entering your postal code. You will then see which options are available for your address, with the cost of each.
When you collect a package from a pickup point, you need valid ID and the number from your email or text message notification. Packages are kept for 14 days and are then returned to our warehouse. If a package is not collected, we may charge a fee. Details are in our terms and conditions and on the delivery page. Your order may also be shipped in two or more packages. This is shown in your tracking link.
Damaged delivery
If you receive a delivery that is damaged or has missing products, contact our customer service at info@beslagonline.com as soon as possible. Describe what happened and attach a picture of the damage, and we will help you further.
Returns & complaints
Return information
Did the product not meet your expectations? No problem. At Beslag Online you have a 60-day return policy, which includes your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The 60 days are a total, not 60 + 14. Read more about the 60-day return policy.
A return fee of €5 applies to every return that is not a complaint, including returns within the first 14 days. The fee is deducted from your refund. Complaints about defective or damaged products have no return fee.
If a returned product is damaged or has been used so that it can no longer be sold as new, your refund may be reduced. Within the statutory 14 days, a reduction may only cover loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. Please do not install the products if you plan to return them.
Please keep the following in mind when returning items:
- Pack the products securely in their original packaging.
- Preferably use the same box or bag in which you received your order, and seal it properly so the products arrive in good condition.
- Do not return items loose, without outer packaging.
We check the condition of every return when it arrives.
How to register and send your return
- Log in to your account by clicking the login icon at the top right of our website. If you do not have an account, read more here.
- Click "Return".
- Select the order you want to return.
- Choose the products you want to return and enter the quantity and reason. Leave a message if you wish.
- Click "Continue". That is it.
You will receive an email confirming that your return case has been registered, followed by an email with a link to your return label. Print the label, attach it to the package, and drop the package off at your nearest drop-off point as shown on the label. You can track the return with the tracking number you get when you drop off the package.
Your refund is processed after we have received and checked your return. Handling can take up to 7 business days from the time the package arrives at our warehouse. The refund is made to the payment method used for the order and can take 5–7 business days.
As part of our environmental policy we do not offer free returns. You are responsible for the package reaching us, so we recommend sending it with tracking. Our return address is Beslag Online, Inre Kustvägen 32, 269 43 Båstad, Sweden.
Important: to make a correct return, you must register your return online before you send back your order.
Returning several orders in one package? See multiple returns in one package. Received the wrong product or a broken one? See claims and complaints.
Return opened products?
Yes, you can return products that have been opened, and you are welcome to open the packaging to inspect them. Please do not install the products if you plan to return them. Send them back in their original packaging so the product's condition is not affected during the return shipment.
If a returned product is damaged or has been used so that it can no longer be sold as new, your refund may be reduced. Within the statutory 14 days, a reduction may only cover loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. The €5 return fee applies. Read the full steps in return information.
Multiple returns in one package?
You can send several returns in the same package, but you must register a return request for each individual order included in the shipment. Write a note listing all the order numbers in the package, and include your delivery notes. If you no longer have a delivery note, enclose a note with your order number and a list of all the returned items. Without this information we may not be able to process your return.
When you register several returns, you will receive separate shipping labels by email. You only need to use one of them. Attach it to the package and drop off the return as stated on the label.
Please pack all returned products securely and do not install them. The €5 return fee and the rules on damaged or used products are described in return information.
Exchange policy
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different size, color or model, return the original item and place a new order for the product you want. You have a 60-day return policy, and the €5 return fee applies. See return information.
Claims and complaints
If you discover a defect in one of our products, contact us as soon as possible, and within a reasonable time after you notice it. We recommend that you contact us within two months of discovering the defect, and that you inspect the products when they arrive.
Under EU consumer law (Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods) you have at least a 2-year legal guarantee on products. If a defect appears within one year of delivery (two years in some countries), it is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless the seller can show otherwise or the presumption is incompatible with the nature of the product or of the defect. During that period you do not have to prove that the defect was there at delivery. Your country may give you longer or stronger rights.
First, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced. You can instead have a price reduction, or end the contract and get a refund, if:
- repair and replacement are both impossible or would be disproportionate;
- the repair or replacement is not carried out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you;
- the defect remains or appears again despite an attempted repair or replacement; or
- the defect is so serious that an immediate price reduction or termination is justified.
To make a complaint, contact customer service by email at info@beslagonline.com. Describe the defect and include your order number. Primarily attach pictures of the product and the defect to speed up handling. If a video is needed, contact us by email. Complaints cannot be made via chat.
If a complaint is approved, we cover all costs, including shipping. There is no return fee for complaints.
Handles, knobs & hooks
Are screws included when I buy handles & knobs?
Yes, handles and knobs come with screws. As standard, we supply screws that suit doors 16–19 mm thick, which is the standard in most kitchens.
If you need a different length, you will find a selection of screws and accessories in our screws and accessories category. The screw length should be 3–8 mm longer than the thickness of the door.
If you are unsure which screws suit your doors or cabinets, contact our customer service at info@beslagonline.com or chat with us.
What are c/c measurements?
C/C stands for center-to-center. It is the distance between the centers of two screw holes, given in millimeters. To find your existing c/c measurement, measure the distance between the centers of the screw holes.
When you know which c/c measurement you want, you can filter by it on our website to see only the products that fit. If none match your existing holes, read what to do.
I can't find the c/c measurements that fit my existing holes
If no c/c measurement matches your existing holes, we usually recommend choosing a handle with a back plate. The plate covers your existing screw holes, so you do not have to adapt to them. It is a flexible solution. You can find handles with back plates in our handle assortment.
If you have more questions, contact us at info@beslagonline.com. See also what c/c measurements are.
Mounting wooden knobs and hooks
When you mount wooden knobs and hooks, use a manual screwdriver and not an electric one. An electric screwdriver can drive the screw too far into the knob, which can damage the wood or make it crack.
Can you install hooks as knobs?
Yes. Use a regular screw instead of the screw pin that comes with the hook. Some of our hooks come with an extra regular screw alongside the screw pin, and you can also order extra screws from us in our screws and accessories category.
If you have more questions, contact us at info@beslagonline.com.
Is it possible to mount knobs on the wall and use them as hooks?
Yes, you can use our knobs as hooks. To convert a knob to a hook, replace the screw that comes with the knob with a screw pin. You can find screw pins on our website with article number T01076 (1 piece) or 744501-210 (10 pieces).
If you have more questions, you are welcome to contact us.
Hooks in bathroom
When choosing bathroom details, the material matters. Wood can swell in a humid environment, so a more durable material such as brass or stainless steel is better suited for bathroom hooks.
Think about how many hooks suit your bathroom: how many are in your family, and how many guest towels would you like to be able to hang?
Hooks can also be used to create extra storage with hanging baskets. Browse our hooks.
Is there nickel in the products?
We cannot guarantee that a product is 100% nickel-free. Traces of nickel can occur in metal products, even if nickel is not a stated material in the product.
If you are sensitive to nickel, we recommend choosing a wooden hardware. Please note that screws and mounting parts may be made of metal.
If you want to know more about a specific product, contact our customer service at info@beslagonline.com.
What kind of leather is on our leather handles?
Most of our leather handles use Swedish vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri. According to the tannery, the leather is completely free of chrome.
The tanning acid is made from oak and mimosa bark, a vegetable tanning method. Vegetable-tanned leather has a natural surface and develops a patina over time.
We also have a guide with more about Tärnsjö Garveri and their leather, including care instructions: Care Instructions for Leather Handles & Knobs. See also our leather handles.
Which brass should I choose?
Here is an overview of the brass finishes we offer, with their characteristics, to help you choose what suits your home.
Brushed brass. Brushed brass is resistant to fingerprints and small scratches, which makes it practical for daily use. It generally patinates and darkens less than untreated brass and needs little maintenance.
Polished brass. The polished surface is lacquered. The lacquer protects the surface from oxidation and darkening, so polished brass keeps its luster and is not expected to develop a patina while the lacquer is intact.
Untreated brass. Untreated brass has a matte, robust surface that keeps the natural look from the manufacturing process. It shows the true color of the brass and patinates over time. Patination is a natural reaction when solid brass is exposed to moisture and oxygen in the air, and the patina protects the brass. Over time, handles and knobs in untreated brass develop a unique character. These products are made of solid brass.
Polished untreated brass. The surface is polished to a glossy finish but has no protective lacquer. It starts out with a luster similar to polished brass, but it patinates and darkens over time. The difference between polished and polished untreated brass becomes noticeable only after some use.
Care instructions for each finish are in care instructions for brass and in our guide Polished, untreated or brushed brass. Contact us at info@beslagonline.com for more advice.
Care instructions for brass
Polished and brushed brass. Wipe the hardware with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove stains and fingerprints. Avoid cleaning agents, as they may contain chemicals that can affect the surface.
Untreated and polished untreated brass. Wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and fingerprints. Avoid cleaning agents, as they may contain chemicals that can affect the surface.
If you want to restore the original shine of untreated brass, you can gently polish the surface with a soft cloth or a polishing agent made for brass. This may remove the natural patina that has developed over time. The patina can develop again after polishing.
Not sure which finish to choose? See which brass should I choose.
Wooden handle on refrigerator
The strength of wooden products can vary slightly depending on which part of the tree the wood comes from. For that reason, we cannot guarantee the strength of a wooden handle mounted on an integrated refrigerator, freezer or dishwasher, as the handle is exposed to strong forces there.
If you would like help finding alternatives, or have other questions, contact our customer service at info@beslagonline.com.
Placement of knobs
The placement of knobs on kitchen cabinet doors and drawers may seem like a small detail, but it affects both function and overall impression. With the right placement, doors and drawers are easier to open, and the kitchen gets a harmonious, well-considered look.
In our guide we show different options depending on whether you have framed doors, flat doors or drawers. It includes information and videos on different ways to place knobs. Read the guide: Knob Placement on Kitchen Cabinet Doors.
Door handles
Which standard should I choose for my door handles?
The difference between the Scandinavian, European and Modular standards depends on which lock case you have in your door. On most doors you can read the name of the lock case by looking at the door as shown at the yellow marking in the picture below.
You can also remove the lock case, if you have an existing door handle, and compare the hole pattern in your door with the pictures below.
Hole pattern for door handles:
Hole pattern for WC thumb turn (bathroom locks):
Find our door handles in the category.
Keys to locks?
Keys are not included with our door handles. The key fits the lock case mounted in your door, not the handle.
If you contact the company that made or sold you the door or the lock case, they can likely help you identify the right key for your door.
Sagging door handle
A sagging door handle is usually caused by incorrect installation, and the problem can often be fixed by adjusting the mounting plates and screws. It can also be caused by the lock case in your door. The lock case must be compatible with a spring-return door handle, so you need a lock case with a return spring for the handle to work properly.
Follow the installation instructions carefully. If the handle still sags, do the following:
- Unscrew the four small stop screws from both sides of the door handle.
- Remove the handles from the mounting plates.
- Check that the mounting plates are firmly and evenly attached to the door. Tighten them diagonally so they are properly aligned. Make sure the notch at the top of the plates is straight against the door.
- Reattach the handles to the plates and press them firmly so they sit securely and flush against the door.
- Lift the handle to the angle it should return to after opening. Then screw in the four small stop screws on each side of the handle, on the inside and underneath.
If the problem persists, contact our customer service and we will help you further. See the full installation guide: How to install your new door handles.
Door handle with visible screw
Installing the door handle
- Center the square spindle in the door. This gives the best fit.
- Place one half of the handle onto the square spindle. Tighten the stop screw so that the tip punctures the square spindle.
- Cut the screws to a suitable length so that they go at least 5 mm into the sleeves when installed. Consider the thickness of the door and the rosettes.
- Place the other half of the handle onto the square spindle. Make sure the octagonal part of the sleeves fits correctly into the octagonal holes.
- Use the included screws and sleeves to tighten the two handle halves together with an Allen wrench.
- Tighten the stop screw with an Allen wrench until the tip punctures the square spindle.
Installing the key plate
- Cut the screws to a suitable length so that they go at least 5 mm into the sleeves when installed. Consider the thickness of the door and the rosettes.
- Place the rosettes tightly against the door. Start by positioning the sleeves so that the octagonal part fits correctly into the octagonal holes.
- Use the included screws and sleeves to fasten the key plates with an Allen wrench.
Installing the Helix door stop
The Helix door stop is mounted by screwing it into the floor with the supplied screw. Use the included mounting kit.
A countersunk wood screw, 4x45 mm, is included in your package. The screw goes through the mounting part and down into the floor, and 40 mm of the screw sticks out under the mounting part.
Installation instructions are shown below. Find more in our door stoppers category.
Bathroom accessories
Installing bathroom accessories with 3M tape
Products with 3M tape have self-adhesive tape on the back, so you do not need to drill holes in your bathroom. For the best attachment, follow our guide Assembly of products with 3M tape.
Clean the surface thoroughly before installation so that it is free of oil and dirt. Avoid cleaning agents that contain oil. You can use our surface cleaning wipe (article number 60404-BO).
Wait at least 48 hours after installation before you use the product.
Note: the tape is intended for permanent, smooth surfaces such as tiles and lacquered or veneered board materials. We do not recommend mounting a product over a joint, as this affects how well the tape attaches. See also the maximum weight for 3M products.
Remove 3M tape
If you need to remove a product that is attached with 3M tape, we recommend this method to avoid damaging the wall:
- Heat the tape. Use a hair dryer to gently heat the tape where it is attached to the wall. This softens the adhesive and makes it easier to remove.
- Loosen the attachment. Carefully slide a thin thread, such as dental floss, between the wall and the tape to detach the product.
- Remove tape residue. If tape residue is left on the wall, gently heat it with the hair dryer and scrape it off.
Good to know: we do not recommend reusing the tape. Once it has been attached and removed, it loses its adhesive strength. If you try to attach the product again, we cannot guarantee that it will stay in place. See our guide How to remove self-adhesive bathroom accessories from the wall.
Maximum weight for 3M products
These are the maximum weights for our 3M products, with correct installation according to the instructions and after the 48 hours the tape needs to set:
- Soap pump holder: 2.5 kg
- Shelf: 5 kg
- Toilet paper holder: 5 kg
- Towel rack: 4 kg
- 1-hook: 2 kg
- 2-hook: 5 kg
- 3-hook: 10 kg
- 4-hook: 10 kg
Placement of bathroom details
Here is guidance on how to install bathroom accessories and at what height they work well. There are no fixed rules. What matters most is that it suits your needs and your bathroom.
At what height should the toilet paper holder go? It should be easy to reach when you sit on the toilet. A common guideline is about 70 cm from the floor, but what matters is that the paper is within easy reach and unrolls smoothly.
On which side should it go? It depends on your bathroom layout and preferences. It is generally placed next to or slightly in front of the toilet, on the right or left wall. You should not have to reach backward for the paper.
At what height should bathroom hooks go? Near the sink, hooks are typically placed 10–20 cm above the vanity, to the right or left, usually 85–100 cm from the floor. Outside the shower, hooks are usually placed higher so that towels can hang freely without touching the floor. We recommend a height of 160 cm from the floor.
Read more in our guide Placement of bathroom details.
Lighting
2700K or 3000K
Kelvin (K) indicates the color temperature of the light. A lower Kelvin number means a warmer, more yellow light.
With 2700K you get a warmer, more yellow light. With 3000K you get a slightly cooler, whiter light.
If you want more detailed help or advice, contact our customer service.
IP44
IP44 is an ingress protection (IP) rating that shows how well a product is protected against solid objects and water. The first digit, 4, means protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm. The second digit, 4, means protection against water splashing from any direction. IP44 is therefore splash-proof, but neither waterproof nor dust-proof. Several of our lighting products are rated IP44.
Which rating is required depends on where in the bathroom the light is installed and on local installation regulations. If you are unsure about the rating of a specific product, please contact customer service. Where required, have the installation done by a qualified electrician.
How many spotlights do I need?

What is meant by 16mm or 19mm when I buy roller rails?
When you install, for example, a wire basket, you also need roller rails that attach to your closet.
The rail is chosen to match the frame of your closet, which is 16–19 mm thick. Measure the thickness of the frame and choose the 16 mm or 19 mm rail accordingly. See what the frame is.
The picture below shows what to measure on your closet to determine which rail you need.
What is the frame of a closet?
The frame is the structure around your closet, the cabinet body. To know which roller rail you need, measure the thickness of the frame (16–19 mm). The picture below shows where to measure on your closet. See 16 mm or 19 mm roller rails.
Are screws for rails included?
Screws are not included if you buy roller rails separately. If you buy a kit with roller rails, mounting screws are included. You can find screws for roller rails on our website.
Bracket for closet rod
Brackets are not included when you buy a closet rod. They are sold separately. Choose the bracket to match the frame of your closet (16–19 mm frame), either 16 mm or 19 mm. See what the frame is.
The brackets are sold individually, so if you buy one closet rod you need two brackets for installation.
What size silverware drawers do I need?
To find out which size you need when choosing a silverware insert, measure the inside of your drawer as shown in the sketch below.
